Please call the hotel directly and identify yourself as a part of the MLA group Conference PoliciesCancellation PolicyCancellations for MLA in-person and hybrid events (including the annual conference, if virtual) must be received in writing by e-mail no later than ten (10) business days prior to the program in order to qualify for a refund. Within ten (10) business days of the event, no refund will be issued. Registrations received within ten (10) days of the program are not eligible for a refund. No-shows will be invoiced. A $35.00 processing fee will be applied to refunds for workshops and conferences. If an MLA professional development workshop, conference, webinar, or other training session is cancelled due to low registration or inclement weather, participants will be notified and fees, if applicable, will be refunded. COVID-19 PolicyWe ask you to be courteous and conscientious of others while meeting in-person at the event, especially when it comes to health and safety. All attendees, exhibitors, partners and staff will be required to show either proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR or Rapid test result within 72 hours of the first day of an event and it is recommended attendees wear a mask indoors regardless of vaccination status. You will be asked to provide a vaccine card or proof of negative test result at the registration desk. This policy is meant to maximize protection from all variants. Due to the changing nature of the pandemic, attendance requirements may change prior to the event. If any government orders or safety concerns restrict us from gathering, we will reassess the event dates and reimbursements at that time. If you test positive for COVID-19 ahead of the event, you are expected to alert MLA staff in advance at 517-394-2774 and may receive a refund. Attendee names may be shared with fellow attendees by inclusion in an event directory.
