Michigan Library Advocacy Day 2024 Training for Advocates

You don't need prior experience to join us for Advocacy Day! Training for all advocates participating in Michigan Library Advocacy Day will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 3:00 to 4:30 PM. When you register for Advocacy Day, you will automatically be registered for the virtual advocacy training event. All Advocacy Day registrants are encouraged to attend the virtual training session to get an overview of MLA’s talking points and be prepared to meet with legislators. If you will be meeting your legislator with other advocates, there will also be an opportunity to meet with your group and strategize so you can make the most of your meeting! Registrants will receive a recording of the training to review prior to Advocacy Day. Watch your email for the Zoom link and more details about your legislative meetings as we get closer to the event!
