Michigan Library Advocacy Day 2026 Training for Advocates

You don't need prior experience to join us! Training for all advocates participating in Michigan Library Advocacy Day will be held via Zoom on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 10:00-11:00 AM.

When you register for Advocacy Day, you will automatically be registered for the virtual advocacy training session. All Advocacy Day registrants are encouraged to attend the session to get an overview of MLA’s talking points and be prepared to meet with legislators.

Registrants will receive a recording of the training to review prior to Advocacy Day. Mark your calendar for April 16 at 10:00 AM and watch your email for the Zoom link and more details about your legislative meetings as we get closer to the event!
