Michigan Library Advocacy Day 2024 Registration

Registration Fee: $25

Registration includes an Advocacy Day t-shirt, a boxed lunch, and a customized legislative meeting agenda and packet. Please indicate any accommodations you may need on your registration form or contact us at [email protected] prior to the event.

Legislative visits will take place at legislator offices located in the Capitol building, the Anderson House Office Building (Representative Offices) and the Binsfeld Office Building (Senate Offices).

Registration and the morning session will take place at Heritage Hall. Heritage Hall is reserved all day so advocates can network, regroup, eat lunch or just relax between visits and events.

Special Events take place throughout the Capitol and grounds. Bookmobiles will be parked on Capital Ave in front of the Capitol Building. 

Parking is paid by the attendee. Review parking options and rates at capitol.michigan.gov/Parking

No refunds will be given for this event.

If an MLA professional development workshop, conference, webinar, or other training session is cancelled due to low registration or inclement weather, participants will be notified and fees, if applicable, will be refunded.

MLA will make every effort to ensure that provided meals are free of any declared allergens. Please ensure you have alerted MLA staff to any allergies you may have. If you have emergency medications, such as an EpiPen, please carry it with you during the conference.

Although we always aim to work with you to provide a safe and comfortable conference, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free event or prevent others from bringing potential allergens to the event. Event attendees are asked to refrain from bringing, distributing, and consuming products containing peanuts and other nuts at the event.
