Justice for All Commission Seeks Library Representation

The Justice for All Commission currently has an open seat for appointment of an individual on behalf of the Michigan libraries as a stakeholder group.

When created by the Michigan Supreme Court, the Commission designated a seat for a member of the library community given the role libraries often play in assisting individuals with addressing their civil legal issues. The Commission itself meets quarterly but any active workgroups typically will meet 1x per month. The goal of the Commission is to close the civil justice gap primarily through system improvements and increasing access to legal resources/information. The posting closes on September 6, 2024.
