Small and Strategic Pre-conference

The Small and Strategic Pre-conference will be held on October 15, 2024, ahead of the MLA 2024 Annual Conference at the Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City, Michigan. The pre-conference is for library staff from Michigan’s small and rural libraries, providing an opportunity for these dedicated library workers to network, learn, and discuss the concerns and needs specific to small libraries.

Registration is only $55 for MLA members and is limited to 100 attendees.

Pre-conference Registration for staff from class 1, 2 and 3 libraries as well as statewide organizations is open now! Registration for staff from all libraries opens after Friday, August 2, 2024.

Note, you do not have to attend the annual conference to register for the pre-conference.
